TwitterCowboy or Wachking?

twit.gif

My twittername is twittercowboy, signed up in an early twitter stage in 2006, when nobody at twitter thought about allowing the word 'twitter' as part of a twitter id.

Not anymore, try for yourself in creating a new twitter account. I can understand why, and I like twitter for not sending me a note, terminating my account, forcing me to create a new one (and yes, cowboy and dutchcowboy are taken).

So far, so good, but when I tried to change my background to a nice and one instead of the default (lik I did here; on our newspaper website twitter, I found out that, while I'm still allowed to twitter about, I can't change my settings anymore. In trying so, twitter returns this message:

1 error prohibited this current user from being saved

There was a problem with the following field:

Screen name Username can't include "twitter"

Now what? Change what? I really like my twitterid, but I don't like the background. What's more important?

Well, my nickname down under is still The Watchking, and I did sign up that name, so maybe I might change things once again, from cowboy to watchking: https://twitter.com/watchking.
